Issuance Fees for Driving Licenses in the UAE

  • AED 100: Issuance fee for a learner's permit for motorcycles and light vehicles.

  • AED 200: Issuance fee for a learner's permit for heavy buses, heavy trucks, light mechanical equipment, heavy mechanical equipment, and heavy vehicles.

  • AED 100: Driving license issuance fee for individuals under 21 years old.

  • AED 300: Driving license issuance fee for individuals aged 21 and above.

  • AED 200: Opening a traffic file fee.

  • AED 50: Safe driving guide fee.

  • Eye test fee: Minimum AED 140, maximum AED 180.

Adding a Category to a Vehicle Driving License via TAMM Platform

You can add a new category to your driving license, such as motorcycle driving license or heavy vehicle driving license, through the TAMM platform after passing the road test.
