If you've lost your vehicle plate in Dubai, you can obtain a "Lost Vehicle Plate Certificate" through the Dubai Police website or app and submit the request through Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority. Both methods are straightforward and involve simple steps.

How to request a Lost Vehicle Plate Certificate through Dubai Police website and app:

  1. Visit the Dubai Police website or app (App store /Google play).

  2. From "Our Services," choose the "Certificates" section.

  3. Select the "Loss" certificate.

  4. Enter your personal information.

  5. Choose the category "Vehicle Plates and Parts" then the subcategory "Car Plate."

  6. Enter plate details.

  7. Input the date and place of loss.

  8. Pay the fee of AED 70.

  9. Receive the transaction number via SMS to track the request status.

  10. Receive the certificate and payment receipt via email.

How to request a lost vehicle plate in Dubai through RTA website:
